Bimmer owners, where do you take your car when the dealership is too expensive?

I've had my 5 Series for about four years now and it's been mostly trouble-free, but recently the suspension has started feeling a bit floaty and there's this occasional clunking noise from the front end when I go over speed bumps that's got me a bit worried. I took it to the dealership for a diagnostic check and they quoted me a pretty eye-watering amount just for the inspection alone, and I'm dreading what the actual repair bill is going to look like once they figure out what's wrong. I know these cars are expensive to maintain but I'm also aware that dealership prices come with a hefty premium just for the brand name, and I've heard that there are independent specialists out there who know these cars inside out and charge much more reasonable rates. The thing is, I don't want to just take it to any random garage that works on all makes and models, because BMWs have so many specific electronic systems and suspension components that need proper diagnostic equipment and someone who actually understands how everything works together. I'm looking for a place that does certified BMW repair in Abu Dhabi because I want peace of mind that the mechanic has the right training and experience to work on my car properly, not just someone who's going to guess and throw parts at the problem until something sticks. If anyone here has a good independent BMW specialist they trust, I'd really appreciate the recommendation because I'm trying to avoid the dealership markup without compromising on quality. Also, if you've had suspension work done before, roughly what did it set you back so I know what to budget for?
